The Ellipse system is the only one that emits short,safe flashes of intense pulsed light,doubly filtered so that only the adequate amount of light is absorbed avoiding the risk of adverse effects. Sunspots contain melamine or hemoglobin redness,this light heats and eliminates these achieving epidermal alteration so that they are not as visible or indeed can even disappear.

Just after treatment redness will disappear,however the stains darken due to melamine oxidation.

Because suntanning consists of the accumulation pigment (melanin) in the skin it is important to avoid (the sun,solarium or sun-tanning creams) before and after treatment. If skin is tanned it will absorb more light,meaning the treatment will be less effective. The use of sun protection creams (min. SPF 50), also hydrating and repair creams are recommended.
